For weeks now the staff at Base Camp have been putting on shows, quizzes and vegan bakery’s. Despite all obstacles that have been put on their way they continue to put on events like this one. I turned up nice and early and got my seat treat myself to one of the venues cocktails and waited for the music to start. This evenings acts was none other than Komparrison. I’ve seen these perform many times before and it’s been a while since I last seen them perform. They introduced a third member of the band on percussion and introduced us all to some brand new songs during the set. I was absolutely hooked to the new stuff it felt like a new direction for the band and the new songs feel like they are taking the music into a new and exciting direction and mix of indie, pop and tunes you can absolutely sing along to. They still played the classics from the debut EP. Over all it was a class set it was great seeing Komparrison back on the stage with something new and fresh.
