After months and months The Georgian Theatre has finally been given the chance to open the doors to live music. I got to the venue had a very warm welcome and the new rules in regards to how the venue is run in these time’s explained very well to me and I sat there waiting for the show the start. I do miss the being able to walk about and going over to my fellow live music loving friends and chatting about it. But that didn’t ruin my evening Thee Strawberry Mynde toke the stage and opened with an absolute bang playing an high energy show with garage rock influenced songs. it wa weird seeing everyone sat down whilst the band were on stage giving it everything. But I guess that’s just part of the temporary normal. They played the set and you could tell that they loved being back on the stage again. After the set I waited around for the headline band Nervous Twitch. It was so good seeing them again and just like Thee Strawberry Mynde you could tell that they loved being back on the stage. Playing a set filled with Poppy Punk tunes holding absolutely nothing back. With everything going on right now it’s kinda refreshing seeing so much positivity all in one place. If we could I guarantee the night would have had people on the dance floor having a good boogie to the music from the bands and DJ’s setlist. But overall it was a fun night of love music and was great to see such a loved venue open again.
